About Aldercrest

From a two-car garage to a 9,000 sq ft workshop

Dale Mercer started the shop in 1998 in a two-car garage off Wabash Avenue. Today we run a 9,000 sq ft workshop on Industrial Parkway with a crew of eleven — including Dale's daughter Mara, who runs design, and two apprentices from the Lincoln Land carpentry program.

We build everything we install. Cabinets are cut, assembled and finished in-house; installation is by our own employees, never day labor. About two-thirds of our work is residential kitchens; the rest is vanities, built-ins and light commercial casework for local contractors.

• One workshop, one crew. Measure, build and install by the same people.
• Written price, kept. Your estimate is fixed before we start.
• Materials that last. Solid hardwood fronts and plywood boxes.
